Listed in Goldstone & Payne as A40a. First edition. "One of 3,200 copies printed for friends of the author and publisher." This is the acceptance speech given in Stockholm on December 10, 1962. Front photo of Steinbeck by Paul Farber. Twelve pages in plain tan stapled wraps and tan paper dustwrapper. Bright, clean copy--the corners are bumped and there is a very slight tear in the jacket near the upper fold, else near-fine condition. Very nice copy of this extremely scarce pamphlet.
