Very nice clean complete set. Estilo Calima 2 volumes: text & plates. Estilos Tolima y Muisca 2 volumes. Extremely scarce work on precolumbian gold work in South America. Scarce as a complete set. Much nicer than usually seen. Barradas was a Prehistorian, born in Cádiz, SW Spain, with an interest in physical anthropology, ethnology, and ethnohistory. He studied natural sciences at the Universidad Central de Madrid, obtaining his doctorate in 1934. As a student he was an assistant with a scholarship at the Museo de Ciencias Naturales and disciple of Hugo Obermaier and Paul Wenet, whose influence was to be decisive in his dedication to prehistoric archaeology. In 1929 he was elected vice-president of the Sociedad Española de Antropología, Etnografía y Prehistoria. After the Civil War, he held several important teaching posts in the Universidad de Madrid and was named Director of the Museo del Pueblo Español in 1939. Price:
